keeping Sabbath and a poem for Saturday

Dull November brings the blast;
Then the leaves are whirling past.

I am thankful for rediscovering this Sarah Coleridge poem Months.
When my daughters were little we had a beautifully illustrated
picture book of this poem.

It is a joy to read the poem once again.

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
