4 September

Joe and I have been walking the beach at sunrise

it looks as if he is walking on another planet

he got a few photos of me as well

Which is sort of nice because when you are the "paparazzi" of the family...

you are pretty much always invisible.

I was with my mum and my daughter on Saturday at the last muster of the season.

Bonnie's boyfriend is on the team from Newbury. MA, where they live.

I grew up in Marblehead, MA, which is where the muster was held.

-Newbury won the season championship!-

After the muster the Gerry 5 (Marbehead's team)

hosted a fish fry for all participants.

I love these old fashioned fireman musters!

figs are in season at the local market

so long August....

  2. I love the shot you captured of your hubby. Brilliant. Love me some figs too. Ours are not ready yet thanks to the late start in the season and weather, but hopefully they will be done before we get a frost.

  10. Love those beach pictures! As the photographer around here, I know how it is to never have photos of yourself. That picture your hubby took of you is a good one.
muster: it's always good to be prepared :)

  12. Your bowl with figs look so pretty. I don't think I have ever eaten fresh figs.

How nice to have a photo of you. As I am the photographer in my family, I don't have a lot of "me" photos either. However, I just bought a selfie stick so hope to change that.

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
