hydrangeas and japanese lanterns

I am recycling a few old photographs lately

while I slowly rejoin the universe

I was at a complete stop while I was sick

and I don't want to rush back into the hustle and bustle

that this time of year brings

I am going to keep each day slow

  2. Chinese lanterns nestled among the hydrangeas - such a beautiful and light-filled composition, full of promise and hope. You are wise to conserve your energy as you recover . . and I'll look forward to your thoughtful images and thoughtful words soon.

  4. How lovely! Yes, do not rush yourself. Remember when we were children and we seemed to rebound so quickly? Not any more so be kind to yourself.

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
