  4. What an inviting bridge to cross. I love the contrast of the bright green leaves on the trees and wintery orange leaves on the forest floor - We are like autumn here at the moment, tree leaves turning orange and being burnt in the harsh sunlight...

  7. That is so pretty. I know it's not a covered bridge, so Icabod Crane isn't anywhere around, but it could be Frost's stopping by the woods at night! Well, close. No matter...it's very pretty.

    1. yes Tessa, this is an old photo...taken in September or October about 5 years ago. I plan on getting outside today for a long walk because it is warm and sunny for the first time in a month

  12. Re: Your comment on this post of mine....

Thank you for saying you understand, my not wanting to wish time away. But yes, it's fine to wish for warmer days. :-))))) That covers both bases.

  13. Oh, I love this bridge. Bridges hold a special place in my heart, as my kids used to play on one at their favorite park when they were little.

  20. The carpet of leaves and the drapes of green are a lovely invitation to "enter" the woods. What a beautiful and clever interpretation of theme day.

Deep peace of the running wave to you.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you.
Deep peace of the quiet earth to you.
Deep peace of the shining stars to you.
Deep peace of the gentle night to you.
Moon and stars pour their healing light on you
